compare the old 2009 era IK Multimedia Amplitube Fender Collection to the December 2016 era Fender Collection 2 amps/speakers.

The guitar used was a 1974 Fender Telecaster. That was played into a Radial J48 direct box, amplified with a Mackie XDR2 preamp and sent into an M-Audio Delta 1010 interface.

The original Fender Collection files were processed at 24-bit/88.2 kHz and resampled to 16-bit/44.1 kHz using REAPER 4's Extreme setting. Dither and noise shaping set to ON.

The Fender Collection 2 files were processed at 24-bit/44.1 kHz with bit depth truncation using REAPER's built in dither and noise shaping set to ON.
